Health care and home and business maintenance are needed and no computer can replace those skills.

A recent analysis conducted by Indeed.com, a career site, has identified the 10 industries where job candidates are most sought after by employers and recruiters. This analysis is based on the resumes that were searched across four countries.

The report highlights that searching for resumes is an active approach, indicating that traditional methods like posting job advertisements may not be yielding the desired results. It notes that resume search trends align with talent shortages in each country.

Despite varying labor market challenges, Indeed found common industries facing talent shortages across the countries. These include healthcare, hospitality, and skilled trades like electricians and plumbers. Mechanic roles were particularly high in demand across all four countries.

In the United States, registered nurses were the most searched for resumes, making up 4.1% of searches, followed by sales. Interestingly, many of the in-demand sectors don’t necessarily require a college degree, which is significant considering the rising cost of higher education.

Here are the top 10 most searched for job resumes in the U.S., according to Indeed.com:

1.            Registered Nurse

2.            Sales

3.            Nurses (in general)

4.            Mechanic

5.            Accountant

6.            Electrician

7.            Customer Service

8.            Chef or Cook
